Stress Tests
Prime95: Unrealistic max load, maximum stability
- Run Small FFTs AVX2 torture test.
-
Duration: Typically 1-2 hours.
The longer you run this test, the more stable the system is. -
For Intel: Watch out for temperatures exceeding 90-95C under AVX load.
Beyond this, you want to consider lowering VCore and consequently lowering your target frequency.
OCCT: Unrealistic load, great stability
- Run the OCCT stress test with Large data set using AVX2, followed by 1 hour of Prime95 Small FFTs without AVX.
- Duration: Typically 1-2 hours.
-
For Intel: Watch out for temperatures exceeding 90-95C under AVX load.
Beyond this, you want to consider lowering VCore.
Realbench: Realistic load, alright stability
Cinebench R20: Realistic load, slight stability
Cinebench R15: Realistic load, minimal stability
